The United Liberian Women of Hartford met with the Executive Director and program Coordinator at the Jubilee House in Hartford.
President Martha Nyuma-Kanneh and Secretary Joyce Doe had a fruitful meeting and will follow up with a subsequent meeting next week. The 2 sides agreed on the following programs for the Liberian Women: 1) Sewing Class. 2)Computer Literacy Class 3)Financial Literacy and 4) Cooking. They also agreed to start a Liberian women garden in the summer of 2013. Bitterballs, Pepper, Okra, Beans and Potato Greens are the current favorite names of produce on the list. Great recipe for Liberia's elite dish "TOBORGEE".
